NDIS Programs @ Brite
Brite will once again run independent living programs and social activities, to be held both on and off site.
Due to the huge success and wonderful feedback from participants and families, we will be running the cooking program again; there is such a high demand for the program that we will offer this over two days per week allow maximum participation.
We'll also increase our community lunch program; currently we have a multicultural lunch each Thursday, from March we will also offer a lunch on a Tuesday that will be run by our colleagues. The lunches will promote healthy eating and allow our colleagues to build independent living skills through running the cafe.
Performing Arts, this will commence mid year and once again work towards our end of year production. In the last performance we were able to enhance and utilise the skills of all participants, from planning, performing, behind the scenes preparation etc. So don't panic if performing is not your thing if you would like to be involved then there is plenty for all to undertake.
Healthy Living/Lifestyle. We will be offering sports related programs in 2019 and due to interest and demand we will be offering Basketball first up, this will commence in March and run through until June. We will have the support of specialist coaches and build existing skills. However, if you wish to try something new, then beginners are also welcome
These programs are open to everybody, so if you have an NDIS plan and any of these interest you, then please don't hesitate to contact Brite for more details.
