Artwork Guidelines & Specifications

Before submitting your artwork to Brite Solutions please review the following specifications and guidelines.

Media:
We accept your files via: CD, DVD or e-mail direct to jobs@brite.com.au
Note: Emailed artwork should be kept under 4Mb.
We also offer an FTP service. (Refer to FTP procedures)

File Formats:
Our pre-press studio uses Mac OSX operating platform and we accept most professional file formats from the latest Adobe Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and also Quark Express and Freehand.

We prefer .eps, .tiff or .psd files saved in CMYK.

Please be sure to include all native layout files, links and fonts. All unrelated artwork should not be included on the disk.

Supply files with linked images and logo's etc, as opposed to embedded images. Files with embedded images are generally inefficient to handle, difficult to seperate, colour correct and become problematic

Pdf files are not recommended as a majority of artwork needs to be altered to comply with print production specifications and certain finishing criteria.

Bleed:
All artwork supplied must include bleed, that is all elements should be bled past the document finished edge. Please contact us for bleed requirements if you are unsure.

High speed digital printers - Canon IRC3220/1150
Large format UV and dye digital printers - HP5500
Large format Oil and solvent digital printers - Seiko IP4500/Seiko 64s
Grand format solvent digital printer - Nur Fresco 3200
Screen presses - 2 and 4 colour multi line printing presses

Proofs:
A colour proof supplied with your artwork is a must. Without a hard copy we can not guarantee accurate reproduction of the image.

Please indicate all Pantone colours (Spot/Special colours) and or CMYK used within the artwork and note them on the hard copy.

Fonts:
Always convert fonts to outlines/paths. If you must supply fonts, be sure to include all fonts within your artwork.
