Blister Sealing

Blister sealing is used to create packaging and is a term for several types of pre-formed plastic packaging used for small consumer goods, foods, and for pharmaceuticals. A blister pack is made of a thermoformed plastic pocket, with a backing of paperboard.

Blister packs consist of carded packaging where goods such as toys, hardware, and electrical items are contained between a specially made paperboard card and clear pre-formed plastic such as PVC. The consumer can visually examine the product through the transparent plastic. The plastic shell is vacuum-formed around a mold so it can contain the item snugly. The card is colored and designed depending on the item inside, and the PVC is affixed to the card using heat and pressure to activate an adhesive (heat seal coating) on the blister card. The adhesive is strong enough so that the pack may hang on a peg, but weak enough so that the package can be easily opened .

Band Sealing

Band Sealers are used for increasing production speeds in semi automatic bag sealing applications, it is an automated form of heat sealing with a conveyor belt.

Driving by a motor controlled by a speed regulator, bags are funneled through the heating element which seal the ends of each bag via thermoplastic welding. The conveyor belt can be adjusted based on different product heights. Our sealers use hot stamping date coding or inkjet printing.

Shrink Wrap L-Bar Sealing

L-bar sealers are fast, efficient and perfect for packaging boxes, CDs, DVDs, food, paper, books and more. Because L-sealers cut film on two sides (shape of an L), only one pass is required to finish the job. This is much faster than a traditional L-bar sealer or straight-bar shrink wrap machine.Using center folded film, L-bar sealers create bags around products with poly bagging.

By using a shrink tunnel or heat gun with a L-bar sealer Brite can produce tightly shrink wrapped packages. Economical and great for creating single or multi-pack packages for sale, as an insert into another package or for shipping.

These machines are designed to work with a roll of PVC or polyolefin centerfold shrink film. These sealers can be used in conjunction with a heat shrink tunnel or a heat gun.

Shrink Wrapping

Shrink wrapping or shrink bundling is a packaging type in which products are collated in a pre-defined matrix; a shrink film is wrapped around the product and passed through a tunnel where it shrinks & holds the product together.

If the product is heavy, breakable, unstable or has to be stacked, it can be shrink wrapped with a pad or a tray. Brite Pak is capable of shrink wrapping products of multiple formats like Film only, Pad + Film, Tray + Film. It is ideal for bottles, cans, tetrapacks, cartons, etc.
