File Transfer Protocol (FTP) procedure

Client uploading procedure as follows

  • Recommended software (WS_FTP) for PC or (Fetch 4.0) for Apple Macintosh must be installed prior to uploading.
  • Once the connection is established you will not be able to see any transferred files on Brite server for security & privacy reasons.
  • Select the files from your computer. (Please compress files to avoid file corruption using Stuffit or WinZip).
  • Maximum file name length 25 characters. No space in between the file name.
  • Any file over 700 mega bytes please put on dvd and mail to: Brite Solutions, 10-16 Daisy Street, Revesby NSW 2212.
  • Click on transfer or upload, depending on the FTP software you use.
  • Wait (this depends on the speed of your connection) until the file transfer or the upload is completed.
  • You will get a message stating upload success or failure. Pay special attention to the window prompts to verify successful file upload message.
  • Once the files have been successfully uploaded please send an email confirmation (specify your file names to avoid confusion) to: prepress@brite.com.au
