Certified Soft Proofing
A key component of Brite’s investment in our end-to-end colour management and proofing system is the ORIS
Certified Proof. This module offers:
- Proofing “by-the-numbers”
- Easy measurement + automatic analysis with pass/fail certification
- Measuring the proofing bar is done in seconds with an X-Rite
- Checks measurement data against the standard and automatically prints the result on a label
- Signed off and affixed to the proof, the label certifies that it meets the desired quality standard
- All measurements and results are stored for further analysis
- Historical tracking allows early detection of changes that might cause a compromise in proof quality
- Graphically represents quality variations over any period of time
Log reports will confirm the certified proof, giving customers the confidence that the final outcome will match the proof generated.
The ORIS soft proof tools are true, integrated Acrobat annotations, enabling multiple parties to review and comment on a single project – from anywhere in the world. This is the world’s most widely used collaboration environment on earth. Drawing, text callout and notation tools come with trackable response and task management and the ability to attach text and image files – to facilitate prompt revisions.
Soft Proofing On Line
With the provision of pdf files and ICC profiles, customers can be confident that what they see is what they get. The provision of a calibrated standard proofing environment will mean marketing staff will be able to design campaigns and view files that will be closely matched to Brite’s press outcomes from concept stage. This will reduce the number of proofs required, expedite sign off through display-based decision making for colour and shorten lead times to press.
